Lutterworth's name comes from an Old English word for a clear, bright river, probably the old name of the Swift, which still runs past the town.
With about 10,800 people, Lutterworth seldom has family-sized rooms free for weeks at a time. Its oldest timber-framed building is the 16th-century Shambles Inn; estates such as Greenacres have grown up beside the old centre.
Our nearest house to Lutterworth is Sullivan Heights, about 15 miles by road. The A426 links the town with Rugby.
Insurers and loss adjusters can book for the household, with the claim reference on a pro-forma paid before arrival. A longer repair is covered by a fresh pro-forma, up to twelve months in all. For children, War Memorial Park in Coventry is home to the Godiva Festival.
