Magna Park began in 1988 as a joint venture between the Church of England and Asda on the old RAF Bitteswell airfield, about 2.5 miles west of Lutterworth. Covering some 500 acres, it pioneered the big British distribution park and in 2008 was Europe's largest.
Its tenants have included Asda, Britvic, Honda, Toyota, BT, Argos, Lidl, Panasonic and TNT, so managers, auditors and systems teams come and go all year.
The M1 has passed just east of the town since 1964 and the M6 a few miles south since 1971. For a corporate event, Stanford Hall, a country house near the town, is a popular venue.
Each team gets one house, one set of keys and an itemised pro-forma invoice with its PO number. In the evening, Coventry's cathedral quarter and the Herbert Art Gallery, reopened in 2008 after a £14 million refurbishment, are a short run from the houses.
