Codemasters, set up in 1986 by Richard and David Darling from the town, keeps its head office of several hundred people in Southam. It was Europe's largest privately owned games company until Electronic Arts bought it in February 2021.
Southam belongs to Silicon Spa, the games cluster centred on Leamington. Vivarail, the rolling-stock firm, was based in the town from 2019 until 2023.
Dallas Burston Polo Club, with six pitches, offers conference and event facilities and the Millstone Hare pub and restaurant. Since 2010 the town has given its name to the Kenilworth and Southam constituency.
A team gets one house and an itemised pro-forma invoice with its PO reference. Humber Hub, our nearest house, gives every bedroom an en-suite.
