No town is closer to the University of Warwick than Kenilworth: the main campus sits 2.5 miles north at Gibbet Hill. Founded in 1965, the university had more than 28,000 students by the end of 2023 and its Arts Centre is the largest of its kind in the UK outside London.
A graduation day can take in the castle ruins and Abbey Fields too. The Talisman Theatre, founded in 1942 and in its 156-seat Barrow Road home since 1969, puts on around nine shows a year.
Our nearest house to the campus is Stoke Lodge, next door to Stoke House, about 5 miles by road. For Coventry University our nearest house is the same pair, about a mile by road.
Visiting researchers can stay for a term with Wi-Fi in every house; families get one living room, one kitchen and free parking for the big day.
