Elm Fields Farm is a site of about 5.87 hectares off Wigston Road, some 5km north-east of the city centre, allocated in Coventry's Local Plan for around 150 homes. The city council promoted it itself.
An outline consent from 2016 lapsed without building. The council's later consultation proposed up to 156 homes, a quarter of them affordable, with the farm buildings cleared and six homes added to Norman Avenue.
Reserved matters for 150 homes were approved in December 2022. The council agreed a landscaping amendment in June 2026.
