Holbrooks is a residential area about three miles north-west of Coventry city centre. Much of it was built in the 1950s for private and council housing, replacing homes destroyed in Second World War air raids.

Holbrooks Park on Holbrook Lane is the area's largest open space. The Stadium estate off Lythalls Lane takes its name from the dog racing stadium that stood on the site. The Coventry Building Society Arena and the Arena Park Shopping Centre are close by, served by Coventry Arena station, which opened in 2016.

Foleshill borders Holbrooks.

The Arena opened in 2005 as the Ricoh Arena, holds 32,609 for football and rugby and is home to Coventry City. It has hosted concerts by Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and Coldplay as well as football at the 2012 Olympics.

The Arena also has a 6,000 square metre exhibition hall and a 121-bedroom DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Wasps rugby union club played there from 2014 to 2022.

Coventry Arena station, on the Coventry to Nuneaton line, opened on the same day as Bermuda Park station. Trains run south to Leamington Spa via Coventry and Kenilworth and north to Nuneaton via Bedworth.

The Arena also hosted events at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
