E.ON left its UK offices on Westwood Way, in Westwood Business Park, for a new city-centre building in October 2025. Redford Developments, based in Warwickshire, then bought the site.
Its outline plan proposes clearing the offices for up to 100 homes, public open space, a children's play area and highway works. Stantec is the architect and Marrons the planning consultant; residents were consulted in April 2026.
The outline application arrived on the council's register in May 2026 and is still to be decided.
