Kingswinford is a town in the Dudley borough, about five miles west-south-west of Dudley, at the western edge of the West Midlands conurbation where it borders Staffordshire. Its built-up area had a population of 51,910 in 2021.

It was part of the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter. The Broadfield House Glass Museum was housed in a grade II listed building. The A491 is the main road through the town and much of today's housing dates from the 1950s and 1960s.

Kingswinford sits at the far western edge of the West Midlands conurbation, bordering a rural area that extends out past the River Severn. Wordsley lies between it and Stourbridge to the south.

Nearby Wordsley has the Red House Cone on the Stourbridge Canal, thought to be the only complete glass cone of its kind still standing. In 2014 the borough council adopted a slogan describing Dudley as the capital of the Black Country.

From the house, Stourbridge town centre is about 3 miles by road and Russells Hall Hospital is about 4 miles away.

Himley Hall, in the village of Himley near Dudley and Wolverhampton, is an 18th-century hall owned by Dudley council. Its 180 acres of parkland were redesigned by Capability Brown, with a large lake and woodland walks. It draws over 200,000 visitors a year.

In Dudley itself, the 13th-century ruins of Dudley Castle overlook the town.

Himley Park was opened to the public as a leisure area.
