Why Coventry Instead of Birmingham?
Coventry and Birmingham are connected by the A45 and M6 — a 20-30 minute drive depending on your destination. Yet Birmingham hotel prices are 40-60% higher than staying in Coventry. Our guests regularly visit Birmingham for business meetings, NEC exhibitions, concerts, and shopping, then return to the comfort and space of their own house in Coventry.
The Numbers
Birmingham city centre hotel: £120-180/night for one room. Parking: £15-25/night extra. Breakfast: £12-15/person. Total for a couple for one night: £160-220+.
Maine Stays Coventry: £89-129/night for an entire 3-4 bedroom house. Parking: FREE. Breakfast: cook your own in the full kitchen. Total for a couple: £89-129. That's a saving of £70-90+ per night.
What's 20 Minutes from Coventry?
NEC Birmingham — 20 minutes via A45/M42. Birmingham Airport — 20 minutes. Resorts World — 20 minutes. Birmingham city centre — 25 minutes via A45. Utilita Arena/O2 Academy — 25 minutes. Edgbaston cricket ground — 25 minutes. Villa Park — 20 minutes. All easily reachable, all much cheaper to stay near in Coventry.
